Vice President, Client Transformation Fund/Client Accounting Manager I

Team Overview: 

The Team works on multiple levels with internal and external stakeholders serving as the main points of contact for Fund Accounting clients. Team members:

  • Manage the client experience by providing service and initiative updates.
  • Help with analysis and prioritization of business requirements for internal functional operating teams and at a client level. 
  • Promote development of automated services.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage and develop relationship by maintaining regular contact with allocated clients to act as liaison between the customer and Fund Accounting.
  • Identify areas causing challenges, areas for improvement and cooperate with relevant stakeholders to implement changes.
  • Work with business teams to define requirements for process automation.
  • Review and work with client and third parties to improve quality of client instructions.
  • Promote Standardized Service offering globally (e.g. Nexen, Signals, TRACE). 
  • Conduct review meetings to discuss issues with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Maintain up-to-date records on client activity.
  • Monitoring of Service Level Agreement Key Performance Indicators. 
  • Maintain technical and managerial capability for job, specifically, develop an in-depth knowledge of all products and service offerings, keeping abreast of market and industry developments.
  • Monitor activity and departmental processes to ensure adherence to service levels, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain a robust control environment for the function while managing risk.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with implementation of process automation or digital tools.
  • Data and gap analysis skills. 
  • Business analysis or prior Business Analyst role.
  • Technical knowledge of technology tools (e.g. VBA, basis of SQL, JIRA, power query) is a big plus.
  • Experience in any cycle of the Fund Accounting operational environment or project management/governance.
  • Ability to work on a self-directed basis and in a team environment.
  • Proven problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • An effective communicator on all levels with solid presentation skills.
