For our Client, an international manufacturing company in the chemical industry, we are looking for German speakers interested in the position of the AP/GL Senior Accountant.

Senior AP/GL Accountant with German

Requirements:
  • university degree in Finance and Accounting or relevant accounting qualifications,
  • min. 3+ years of experience in GL or AP area,
  • very good understanding of GL processes,
  • good knowledge of English and German (min. B1/B2) allowing verbal communication,
  • a keen eye for details and high level of accuracy,
  • high interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • recording fixed assets, including calculation of depreciation,
  • managing the end-to-end invoice processing from receipt to posting in the system, considering various transaction types and tax rates,
  • supporting the process of preparing payments to vendors according to a payment schedule,
  • reconciling balances on the GL account,
  • handling intercompany processes, including reconciling intercompany transactions and ensuring data consistency across different organizational units,
  • managing the re-invoicing process, including identifying appropriate costs for re-invoicing and generating documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements,
  • monitoring and executing netting processes.
