For our Client, an international consumer goods company, we are looking for a Senior Reporting Manager.
Senior Reporting Manager
Requirements:
- bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field,
- minimum 7–10 years of professional working experience in finance, accounting, or audit,
- experience in a Big 4 accounting firm would be advantageous,
- familiarity with the specifics of the FMCG/production environment in accounting standards such as IFRS and local Polish GAAPs,
- general knowledge of the Polish tax environment,
- knowledge and user experience with SAP,
- advanced proficiency in MS Excel,
- strong analytical skills and attention to detail,
- ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders,
- fluent in both Polish and English, both written and spoken,
- international certifications such as ACCA or CIMA would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- ensure all financial reporting processes adhere to both local regulations and the standardized reporting model of the group,
- ensure the application of reporting instructions and deliver & report the management accounts of all companies (based on IFRS),
- ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor all statutory financial reporting activities, including the preparation and submission of statutory, financial statements, and coordination of external financial audits,
- ensure all other statutory reporting requirements (incl. reporting to statistical offices and national bank) are met,
- oversee the period closing process, including the preparation of proper calculations and transactions, ensuring timely and accurate closing within corporate reporting systems,
- review Key Performance Indicators related to the closure process and implement action plans to enhance the efficiency of the closure process and other General Ledger activities,
- secure an effective internal control system in the accounting, closing and reporting process,
- perform integrity checks of interfaces fuelling the accounting system and follow up on the resolution of issues,
- team management.
