We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Cash Processing/Funds Transfer II to join our Cash Processing team. This role is located in Wrocław, work in hybrid model.  Cash Processing Team manages fund movements from the client to the final beneficiary, processing cash instructions from relevant parties and/or ensuring optimal balances on various fund’s accounts.
Working hours: 10:00 – 18:30 CET

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Management of daily workflow, performing intra-day and end-of day controls 
  • Responsible for wires input and verification and final authorization
  • Managing investigation process, determining SWIFT requirements and market practice for various currencies 
  • Supporting manager in defining priorities for daily tasks and ensuring the whole team understands them
  • Supports junior staff and stakeholders with their requests
  • Responding efficiently and effectively to any queries or requests, establish a professional relationship with other departments and builds confidence as a reliable contact,
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and being assertive in order to adhere to internal policies
  • Raising issues to relevant parties and clients in professional manner
  • Ensuring that all BNY and regulatory daily, weekly, monthly and annual procedures and reporting tasks are adhered to, breaches of controls etc. are reported to manager, assistant manager or supervisor,
  • Participating in process improvement initiatives and actively encourage new ideas from team members

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant work experience 
  • Knowledge of money transfer process – book transfers, corresponding relationships, international transfers is an asset,
  • Knowledge of SWIFT messages structure and ability to read SWIFT messages is an asset,
  • Familiarity with the structure of most popular banking codes (BIC code, IBAN, ABA, Sort Code)
  • Computer literacy, highly skilled in the use of spreadsheets, word processing packages
  • Very good teamwork, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Very good organizational skills, 
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Ability to adhere to rigid deadlines;
  • Team spirit, can do attitude
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
