We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Client Service II to join our Corporate Trust team. This role is located in Wroclaw, Poland -hybrid module.

Role overview:

The Senior Associate, Client Services works with external clients to resolve day-to-day issues and direct them to appropriate resources at BNY Mellon. The one of primary responsibility is the management of a portfolio of loans in which BNY Mellon act as facility agent and/or security trustee. The Senior Associate will quickly address and resolve problems, possess strong decision-making and organizational skills. 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Management of a number of Loan Funds or CLO (Collateralized Loan Obligations) portfolios of Corporate Trust Clients and serves as the key day-to day contact. The role includes responsibility for servicing the overall Client relationship ensuring delivery of our contract obligations.
  • Transaction Management: - Cash & Trade (Loans, Bonds etc) Management Oversight – ability to engage with Clients to ensure timely execution, Report Review and preparation on Portfolio’s Performance, Monitoring of Service Level
  • Leads and participates in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve the client experience. Helps develop process improvements.
  • Calculating interest rates for each accrual period and distributing rate set notices
  • Billing and collecting principal, interest, and fee payments from Client. Distributing all funds collected to the syndicate lenders
  • Collecting of financial statements and compliance requirements from Client as required by the Credit Facility, forwarding such information to each syndicate lender in accordance with the Credit Facility
  • Processing lender assignments and maintaining the official lender register
  • Identify and resolve issues while serving as a high-level escalation point for complex situations and ensure that they are brought to a successful resolution

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience preferred. 
  • Sound technical knowledge of structured finance products including CDO/CLO (Collateralised Debt/Loan Obligations), Direct Lending funds and Credit Funds would be an advantage
  • Client Service/Operations experience within financial services is strongly preferred.
  • SOLVAS background preferred.
  • Fluent English
  • Finance/accounting, compliance/reporting, reconciliation background experience strongly preferred.
