We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) Quality Reviewer, QA Process Tester (non-Tech) to join our BNY BNYM’s global Financial Crimes Compliance team. This role is located in Wroclaw, Poland.
BNYM’s global Financial Crimes Compliance group is responsible for the Firm wide Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Know Your Customer (KYC)/Customer Due diligence (CDD) and Economics Sanctions Compliance (collectively “FCC”) Program. The team provides oversight of the day-to-day and strategic implementation of the Firm’s enterprise-wide financial crime prevention efforts. Responsibilities
- Perform QA testing on FCC and SAR Processes (i.e.: closed investigations of alerts, incent reporting, SARs)
- Provide insightful and objective observations based on the testing performed
- Provide regular feedback relating to quality assurance reviews to QA Management on the quality and effectiveness of the execution of FCC processes
- Conduct trend analysis on FCC errors
- Provide recommendations on deficiencies within the processes
- Assist in the implementation of AML/BSA detection and prevention methods, such as training and instruction manuals
- Regularly review and provide recommendations of the QA procedures, as needed
- Remain informed on key global regulatory, legislative and industry updates impacting financial crimes
- Provide support in audit and regulatory requests, as needed
Qualifications
- 8 + Years of overall Experience and more than 3 years of experience in Compliance / KYC / Financial Crimes in a global bank / financial institution preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree within Finance / Accounting / Forensics / Engineering would be preferred; however, we are open to see applications from other studies as we provide an extensive training
- Strong skills in MS Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- SAR filing experience
- High level of integrity with the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism
- Good understanding of AML & CTF framework
- Knowledge of Financial Crime Laws and regulations
- Experience in conducting QA / QC reviews of AML activities
- Good Verbal & written Communication Skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter capable of working independently, with limited supervision
- Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
