Requirements
- degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, comparable training, or experience,
- at least 4 years proven experience in comparable position,
- experienced in participating in projects with teams from a variety of cultures and languages,
- customer service mindset,
- willing to occasionally travel (Estimated 2-3 times per year),
- excellent communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences,
- proficiency in relevant security tools and security-specific scripting,
- hands-on experience with network protocols, encryption techniques, and forensic tools,
- deep understanding of technical security solutions and their practical application in a business context,
- expertise in the Microsoft 365 Defender suite of security tools,
- expertise in Microsoft Purview (formerly Microsoft Information Protection), including data loss prevention, information governance, and compliance management,
- familiarity with Azure security tools and features, such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Key Vault,
- proficiency with Azure Active Directory and Conditional Access policies.
Responsibilities
- develop and maintain a comprehensive IT security strategy that aligns with organizational goals,
- conduct security assessments and audits, identify vulnerabilities, and prioritize remediation based on potential business impacts,
- liaise with Global and Local IT team to ensure security practices are consistent and adhere to regulatory and compliance standards,
- implement and manage security measures around Microsoft 365 Defender and Microsoft Purview to enhance data governance and compliance across the organization,
- support incident response and crisis management with technical insights and strategic coordination,
- provide training and guidance to IT staff and other employees on security best practices and emerging threats,
- work with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure compliance with our security standards,
- continuously seek to improve security systems and processes through emerging technologies and industry best practices,
- plan and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
