German-Speaking Payroll and HR Operations Specialist
Requirements
- extensive knowledge of German payroll,
- proficient in Time and Attendance systems,
- basic understanding of German labor laws, working time acts, and federal leave acts,
- ability to swiftly comprehend the collective agreements within the chemical industry,
- familiarity with works council agreements,
- fluent in both German and English,
- readiness for business trips to Germany will be a significant advantage.
Responsibilities
- utilize Local HR SaaS to manage payroll for employees and pensioners across various payroll groups in Germany,
- adhere to the collective agreements specific to the chemical industry,
- collaborate closely with the Payroll Coordinator to ensure timely and accurate payment processing and reporting,
- serve as a primary contact for payroll-related inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders,
- prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports,
- oversee and, if necessary, correct payroll data within the system,
- manage employee files.
