We’re seeking a future team member for the role of ASSOCIATE, PRODUCTION SERVICES APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST II to join our Accounting Solutions Team which is a part of Asset Servicing Technology. team. This role is located in Wroclaw – HYBRID.
The Accounting Solution’s Client Operations Management team is responsible for providing premium level service and support to the many lines of business within BNY Mellon that leverage the Eagle product suite. Members of this group effectively work directly with and advocate on behalf of BNYM to resolve issues in a timely manner. The diverse responsibilities of this position provides team members the unique opportunity to showcase varying skill sets. Whether it’s actively maintaining client relationships, testing accounting software functionality, managing critical incidents or providing knowledge transfer sessions to educate others, no two days are the same.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- You are the main point of contact for both Operations and Technology groups and a liaison into the larger D&A organization, ensuring the timely resolution of all client issues. You are tasked with fully understanding operational workflows, having in-depth knowledge of business needs and providing solutions to various daily or monthly processing challenges.
- Performs complex troubleshooting as a subject matter expert in one or more applications. Works to ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting setup. Works on root cause analysis and problem management to address underlying technical issues. Collaborates with business and application development stakeholders.
- Monitors changes to applications and their operating environment. Analyzes any complex issues.
- Recommends technical solutions on application problems.
- Reviews and develops updates of contingency documentation and processes.
- Reviews and analyzes product migrations through all systems environments.
- May review and execute Change Management scripts.
- Contributes to incident resolution for high priority incidents.
- Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Experience using Eagle products and basic SQL is preferred but not required.
- Have a curious and inquisitive approach to learning
- Welcome challenging situations and thrive under pressure
- Consider themselves natural problem solvers
- Has a healthy appetite for building out functional knowledge and expertise
- BA in Finance, Accounting or IT, and 3-7 years of experience in investment management and/or the financial services industry.
