YOUR ROLE

We seek a skilled and experienced SDN Developer to join our dynamic team. The role requires a deep understanding of Network practices, agile project methodologies, and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, Python programming, database management, and cloud-native technologies.

YOUR CLIENT

Our client is a global telecommunications and data center services provider, headquartered in Europe.

YOUR TASKS

• Work in a team of 5 SDN engineers
• Contribute to SDN solution architecture
• Enhance and maintain the existing SDN framework 
• Use SDN framework for 3rd-party network components migration

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong experience in Python
• Proficient in YANG, JSON, REST, YAML, and Netconf
• Confident understanding of SDN, NSO and L2-L3 concept

Nice to have:

• Expertise in Lumen Network landscape
• Hands-on experience with Redis, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
• Proficiency in KAFKA and RabbitMQ
• Expertise in Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure pipelines
• Skilled in Robot Framework, Ansible, and Postman
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working in Agile projects, understanding the Agile mode, DevOps practices, and SDLC process
• Excellent Linux skills for system administration and troubleshooting
• Understanding of NSO, SDN, and basic L2-L3 networking concepts. Knowledge of network services such as IPACCESS, IPTRANSIT, and EVPN is a plus
• Previous experience with a workflow engine is an added advantage
