This position will play a key role within Back Office team, reporting to Associate Manager. The person in this role is responsible for supervising and at the same time performing operational I2C work within assigned region and acting as first point of escalation for Cash App, bank reconciliations, unapplied cash and any manual postings to ERP. This role requires strong practical skills and proactiveness to ensure that team is meeting assigned deadlines.
It includes but is not limited to the following areas:
- People management (50%)
- Operational task (50%)
- Process improvement
- Managing process controls and compliance
- Supervising month end activities
What will you do:
- Developing a strong and stable team, evolving capabilities to ensure the team delivery meets business needs and environmental changes
- Set direction for, and manage, the AR team members (up to 8 people)
- Coach, mentor and supervise team members
- Build and maintain a robust culture of process improvement – driving the understanding of the need for improvement and enthusiasm within the team
- Responsible for ensuring that all receipts are posted timely and accurately and bank accounts are reconciled properly for whole team along with his own assigned entity
- Responsible for preparing assigned monthly or bi-monthly reports
- Minimize the level of unapplied items and ensure that customer accounts are reconciled
- Partner with the Financial Accountants to successfully close month end on a timely basis
What you need:
- Between 4 and 7 years of I2C / AR experience (min. 1 years of people manager experience)
- Fluent spoken and written English and Italian is required
- Experience on AR-related systems (SAP, Oracle, Credit Management tools or others)
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field
- Proven skills in interviewing, coaching, counseling, motivating, training and recognizing team members
- Ability to actively engage stakeholders, clients, and staff to ensure processes are executed consistently
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and multi-tasking
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
