About the position:

The role of a Purchasing Operations Associate plays a key part in ensuring the efficient functioning of the PO department and maintaining its high standards. The main objective is to deliver high-quality service to the markets by processing a large volume of incoming tickets in a timely manner, resolving queries effectively, and ensuring high accuracy in line with established policies and procedures.

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Operations: Efficiently processed a high volume of incoming tickets in line with established company policies and procedures.
  • Issue Resolution Support: Responded to requisitioner inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring clear communication and effective issue resolution.
  • Data Accuracy & Maintenance: Maintained accurate and up-to-date procurement data across internal systems to support smooth daily operations.
  • Collaboration & Escalation: Collaborated with internal teams and escalated complex cases when necessary to ensure timely and effective resolution.

Requirements:

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet challenging deadlines
  • Positive attitude towards routine and repetitive tasks
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly absorb new information and processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to work
  • Experience with ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow, is a plus
  • Fluency in English
