Requirements

  • 2 years of professional experience in a similar position,
  • advanced proficiency in Excel,
  • familiarity with SAP software,
  • proficient in English,
  • knowledge of German, French, or Dutch is a plus,
  • strong analytical skills and basic financial knowledge,
  • good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills,
  • openness to learning, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail,
  • ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • perform dunning activities in line with collection strategy to ensure timely payments,
  • contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and support the payment process,
  • escalate and follow up on unresolved payment issues as needed,
  • analyze customer solvency and adjust credit limits accordingly,
  • verify customer payment terms in compliance with the credit policy,
  • manage credit limits, monitor credit exposure, and handle blocked sales orders,
  • release blocked orders when justified and within policy,
  • collaborate with the local team and cross-functional departments,
  • identify and implement improvements in collection and credit control processes,
  • perform month-end reconciliation and closing activities related to collections,
  • maintain accurate records of collection efforts and credit decisions,
  • build and maintain strong customer relationships,
  • resolve payment issues and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary,
  • contribute to regular  performance reviews and reporting.
