Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the field of HR, including advisory, business partnering, or specialist HR roles,
- in-depth knowledge of labor law, social security, and personal income tax relevant to the assigned country or client group, combined with a strong understanding of EU data privacy regulations, with particular focus on the CEE region, especially Romania,
- knowledge of multi-country employment laws and regulations is an advantage,
- experienced in applying HR principles, theories, and best practices to support business and employee needs,
- Bachelor or Master degree in HR, psychology or similar area will be huge asset,
- builds strong partnerships with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and employee needs, enhancing engagement and performance,
- strong communication & influencing skills, engages effectively with employees and leaders,
- adaptability & problem-solving, navigates ambiguity and finds creative solutions,
- willingness to take challenges and new solutions,
- fluent in English (at least B2+) and Romanian (at least B2+),
- knowledge of IFRS will be huge asset,
- experience in migration processes and project of improvement will be huge asset.
Responsibilities
- monitor and interpret changes in employment legislation, advising the organization on necessary policy and process adjustments to ensure compliance,
- lead cross-border HR projects, collaborating with senior leaders to align initiatives with strategic business objectives,
- prepare high-quality reports, presentations, business communications, and data summaries to support decision-making,
- provide expert guidance on compensation and benefits (C&B), including retention bonuses, and partner with Finance to ensure alignment with budgetary frameworks,
- advise leaders on employment relations, HR policies, terms and conditions of employment, and compliance with labor law requirements,
- serve as the liaison to the Works Council, supporting negotiations and co-developing updates to the Employee Handbook in collaboration with HRBPs and the HR Director,
- resolve complex employee inquiries related to compensation, retirement, and benefits,
- oversee HR project execution, including communication planning, meeting facilitation, progress monitoring, and reporting,
- coach and mentor HR team members and business leaders on HR processes, tools, and best practices,
- support HR Business Partners with talent management activities, including succession planning and performance management,
- advise on long-term illness and accident-related absences, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to company policies,
- act as the primary point of contact for audit-related HR matters,
- step in to perform duties under the HR Shared Services Specialist or Support roles as required.
