The Application Evolution Services team is a part of PwC Poland. Our work requires constant monitoring of the operation of applications and real-time response. We also improve existing products and introduce new functionalities, so that applications can advance in parallel with our clients’ growth. We are looking for:

SAP ABAP Developer

Role Description: 

  • Develop ABAP and integration objects within SAP HANA S/4HANA environments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of functional requirements to design and develop ABAP objects, adhering to SAP best practices and standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical specifications for all ABAP objects to facilitate clear communication and implementation processes.
  • Document technical designs, create test cases, and record test results to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Test solutions thoroughly, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage deployment activities.
  • Build and manage integrations between Sales/Service Cloud and SAP HANA (on-premise) to enhance system synergy and data flow.
  • Perform impact analysis for upgrades, making necessary code adjustments to maintain system integrity and efficiency.
  • Serve as a liaison with users to troubleshoot issues, actively investigating, analyzing, and resolving user problems.
  • Handle changes and emergency transports for high-priority issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Work self-directed and independently, demonstrating expertise and potentially acting as a subject matter mentor to junior team members.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd Line Support to address and resolve tickets related to customer-specific solutions.
  • Conduct Detailed Problem Analysis to diagnose issues thoroughly to understand root causes and configure SAP systems to develop effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with 1st-Level support and other IT teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients by addressing support topics promptly and effectively.
  • Regularly analyze and report on ticket trends in the designated area to identify recurring issues and potential improvements.
  • Lead and execute minor projects and system changes tailored to meet specific customer needs and requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of support issues, solutions, and project changes to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.

 Required Skills: 

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP environments with involvement in multiple SAP ABAP implementation projects
  • Proficient in SAP ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP
  • Expertise in Forms (SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms)
  • Strong knowledge in Reports (ALV, Classical), Interfaces (ALE/IDOC, BAPI), and Conversions (LSMW, BDC)
  • Experienced in Enhancement techniques (User Exits, BADI, Enhancement Spots)
  • Skilled in Workflows (Development, Configuration)
  • Proficient in building and implementing OData services using the SAP ODATA Framework and NetWeaver Gateway
  • Strong programming skills in UI5 technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, Angular JS
  • Ability to perform end-to-end configurations and customizations in Fiori apps
  • Experience with CDS Views and consuming them on Fiori
  • Knowledge in Cloud Connectors
  • Core experience in ABAP on HANA with UI5
  • Ability to create detailed Technical Design Documents (TDD) and Unit Test documents
  • Experience in Unit Testing and Integration Testing during SAP support projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience acting as a consultant and team lead, facilitating collaboration and effective client interactions
  • Familiarity with structured methodologies such as ASAP and ITIL
  • Proven ability to interact with onsite teams/clients, provide regular status updates, and maintain positive relationships
