For our Client, who has possibility to work 100% remote, we are looking for candidates for the position of (Senior) AP Accountant with French.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in AP area,
  • good understanding processes in AP area,
  • high interpersonal and analytical skills,
  • attention to detail and thoroughness,
  • very good command of English and French (at least B2),
  • university degree or in the course of study with a major in Economics, Finance or Accounting will be an asset,
  • experience in project of improvements will be an asset,
  • knowledge of SAP system. 

Responsibilities

  • verify and process incoming PO and non-PO invoices, credit notes, and other accounts payable documentation,
  • reconcile AP accounts and prepare regular reports, including AP Aging, GR/IR, and account reconciliations,
  • prepare and execute payment proposals accurately and on time,
  • maintain and update internal procedures and documentation,
  • provide audit-related documentation as required and support colleagues with similar requests,
  • assist Legal Entities, Headquarters, AP team members, Team Coaches, and Team Leaders with ad hoc tasks,
  • identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to their implementation,
  • perform various tasks related to the end-to-end accounts payable process,
  • deliver high-quality customer service to all internal and external stakeholders,
  • proactively identify operational issues, propose solutions, and support their resolution.
