We’re excited to share some big news: we’ve launched a new specialist group that works closely with PwC Germany’s Risk and Regulatory Practice. This team will play a key role in delivering high-impact consulting projects for Germany’s financial sector. You’ll get to collaborate directly with our German colleagues and clients and dive into cross-border projects - immersing yourself in the heart of Europe’s financial world.
We are looking for:
Credit Management Team Member with German
Your future role:
- Manage the end-to-end credit process for clients and support regulatory reporting frameworks,
- Assist clients in implementing regulations (like MaRisk) and interpreting emerging frameworks (like IReF or BIRD),
- Analyze credit risk changes and optimize reporting processes to ensure compliance with evolving European regulations,
- Support clients during supervisory audits conducted by ECB, Bundesbank or BaFin,
- Drive digitalization and optimization of credit processes,
- Work hands-on with regulatory reporting tools (Abacus, BAIS) and develop programming skills (Python, R, Excel),
- Collaborate closely with PwC Germany, building a cross-border network and learning from experts,
- Grow professionally in a culture that values curiosity, initiative, and continuous learning.
Apply if you have:
- Fluency in both English and German (minimum B2 level in both),
- Experience in Financial Services and/or Consulting, preferably with exposure to German institutions (via previous roles, internships, or vocational training),
- Some hands-on experience in regulatory reporting (at least 2–3 projects),
- A completed or soon-to-be-completed higher education degree in economics, international business, accounting, or a related field,
- Familiarity with key regulatory frameworks (CRR, FINREP, COREP, Anacredit) and practical experience using tools like Abacus or BAIS,
- Understanding of banking processes, risk management, and regulatory reporting requirements,
- Knowledge of credit risk management, credit file review, rating systems, credit lifecycle, and EBA Guidelines,
- A structured, proactive, and quality-focused work approach,
- Strong communication skills, openness, and eagerness to learn and grow in an international, collaborative environment,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel,
- Motivation to develop professionally and engage with the German team and clients.
Nice to have:
- Basic programming skills or familiarity with Python, R or Excel.
