We’re excited to share some big news: we’ve launched a new specialist group that works closely with PwC Germany’s Risk and Regulatory Practice. This team will play a key role in delivering high-impact consulting projects for Germany’s financial sector. You’ll get to collaborate directly with our German colleagues, dive into cross-border projects, and even travel to Frankfurt - immersing yourself in the heart of Europe’s financial world.
We are looking for:
Risk & Capital Management Team Member with German
Your future role:
- Work on consulting projects for leading German banks, FinTechs, and financial institutions, gaining hands-on experience in risk management,
- Build expertise in risk management, ESG risks, resolution planning, and stay updated on regulatory changes,
- Lead capital management initiatives impacting compliance and business performance, including capital optimization and advanced risk measures,
- Develop analytical tools for RWA calculations, COREP reporting automation, capital allocation, and critical banking infrastructure,
- Collaborate with PwC teams in Poland and Germany, expanding your international network and learning from experts,
- Strengthen technical skills through practical use of risk management tools, programming (SQL, C, Python, SAS, R), and analytics,
- Grow in a culture that encourages curiosity, initiative, and continuous learning, supported by training and mentorship,
- Benefit from flexible work and occasional travel to Germany to experience diverse work cultures.
Apply if you have:
- Fluency in both English and German (minimum B2 level),
- Experience in Financial Services and/or Consulting, preferably with exposure to German institutions via roles, previous projects, internships, or training,
- Working understanding on European regulatory environment,
- Completed or near-completed higher education in finance, business law, econometrics or other quantitative/qualitative fields,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel,
- A proactive, organized, and quality-focused work style,
- Open, honest, and proactive communication skills,
- A strong motivation to learn, grow, and collaborate with the German team and clients.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., SQL, C, Python, SAS, R),
- Knowledge of CRR/CRD regulations and relevant EBA Guidelines.
