PwC Poland’s Business Intelligence & Data team comprises more than 50 specialists. We help our clients design and implement a strategic and sustainable approach to capitalising on the value of their data and boosting business results. We’re looking for: 

Senior Data Consultant

Your future role: 

  • Lead engagements with Polish and international clients to define and implement strategies for data, AI, Data Management, or Master Data that maximize business value and enable modern data platforms aligned with best architectural practices and Data Governance,
  • Plan and facilitate consultations and executive workshops to understand business and technology needs; translate them into tailored Data Management and Data Architecture strategies, target operating models, and actionable roadmaps,
  • Assess current-state data capabilities, processes, and platforms (business and technology), identify gaps, and design data-driven transformation paths, including Modern Data Governance and Data Mesh approaches,
  • Define and design, together with solution architects and relevant stakeholders high-level Data Architectures,
  • Lead selection, implementation, or optimization of Data Management, MDM, and Data Quality tools (e.g. Ab Initio, Ataccama, Collibra, Informatica, Purview, SAP),
  • Design and operationalize Data Quality and Data Governance processes,
  • Prepare and deliver thought-leadership sessions on value creation with AI, Data Governance, and Data Mesh; present deliverables and recommendations to senior stakeholders and boards,
  • Support business development and pre-sales by shaping proposals, and preparing demo sessions for clients,
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology partners and internal delivery teams to ensure consistency and the highest quality of outcomes,
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project workstreams, mentor junior team members, share expertise.

Apply, if you have: 

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, or Data Management, or Data Quality, or Data Architecture, or MDM/MDG, preferably in consulting or other client-facing roles,
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with at least one enterprise Data Management, Master Data Management or Data Quality platform (e.g. Ab Initio, Ataccama, Collibra, Purview, SAP or other);,
  • Strong consulting toolkit: requirements gathering skills, gap analysis, user interviewing, process design and assessment, documentation, and stakeholder management,
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Polish and English (C1+), including visual storytelling and confident engagement with C‑level stakeholders,
  • Ability to lead workshops, drive consensus, influence senior business and technology audiences, and act as a trusted advisor,
  • Working knowledge of data management frameworks and standards (e.g., DAMA‑DMBOK, DCAM) and the ability to apply them pragmatically,
  • A proactive, accountable mindset with experience owning workstreams, coordinating project teams, and mentoring colleagues,
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a track record of solving complex problems.

Nice to have: 

  • Familiarity with regulatory and statutory requirements impacting Data Governance and Data Quality (e.g. Recommendation D, BCBS 239, AI Act),
  • Proven track record delivering MDG/MDM initiatives (operating model, data domains, processes, tooling selection / implementation, and integration),
  • Experience designing strategies and operating models for technology solutions, ideally focused on data,
  • Understanding of modern data platforms and architectures (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake; lakehouse, data mesh, streaming/real-time) and their governance implications,
  • Industry experience in healthcare, retail, or oil and gas,
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Collibra Ranger, Informatica, Ataccama, DAMA CDMP, DCAM),
  • Experience establishing data observability, lineage, and quality monitoring.
