Finance Managed Services (FMS) in PwC Poland is rapidly expanding as part of the Managed Services Operations. You can play an important role in supporting and transforming the operations of our domestic and international Clients. We continuously enhance our operations by applying best practices, streamlining processes, and integrating cutting-edge technological solutions for our customers. Join us in shaping and transforming operations for our domestic and international clients, as we delve into diverse, complex projects and collaborate closely with expert consulting teams to provide comprehensive finance services, including accounting and reporting, tax as well as financial planning & analysis, across various sectors in the region.
We are looking for:
AR Accounting Expert
Your future role:
- Generate and distribute detailed accounts receivable reports, including aging analyses and monthly cash flow projections, and compile accurate AR data for inclusion in financial statements and executive dashboards,
- Serve as the initial resource for junior team members by providing guidance on AR policies and procedures, as well as facilitating targeted training sessions to enhance team competency,
- Lead client-facing calls as the designated AR expert, resolving complex account discrepancies and providing consultative support for high-priority customer portfolios,
- Implement approved operational changes within AR teams, clearly communicating process updates and ensuring seamless integration into daily workflows,
- Identify inefficiencies in AR processes, propose targeted optimization strategies, and oversee cross-functional initiatives to standardize and streamline regional workflows,
- Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with clients to facilitate prompt payments and proactively address any billing or reconciliation concerns.
Apply if you have:
- Extensive expertise in AR accounting with at least 4-5 years of experience in complex accounts receivable processes and advanced knowledge of general accounting standards (IFRS and/or US GAAP),
- Professional working proficiency in English, with proven ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting,
- Demonstrated experience with leading accounting software platforms and ERP systems for transaction processing and financial record maintenance, such as SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics,
- Results and solution-oriented mindset, coupled with a track record of identifying and implementing improvements in AR processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and feedback skills, including leading operational quality calls,
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize and deliver tasks, adapt to shifting priorities, and work directly under client supervision even on client premises.
Nice to have:
- Experience in maintaining external accounting for a variety of clients,
- ACCA or any other accounting certificate.
