HedgeServ is a rapidly expanding global fund administrator, and we are seeking talented professionals to join our Middle Office team in Kraków. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of large Multi-Strategy Hedge Funds, gaining hands-on experience with complex financial instruments and global markets.
The Role
As a Middle Office Associate, you will be a vital part of a high-performing team, managing the end-to-end trade lifecycle for our clients. You will work across key functions such as trade capture, settlements, and pricing, and your responsibilities will extend to trade break resolution, comprehensive client reporting and contributing to our technology development. You will gain invaluable experience in how various financial products trade and operate, setting a strong foundation for your career in the financial industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle, from accurate trade bookings to end-of-day pricing, and timely client deliverables.
- Investigate and resolve cash and position breaks through daily reconciliations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding system and trade-related queries.
- Perform daily cash and position reconciliations; investigate and resolve breaks.
- Partner with internal teams across Middle Office, NAV/Valuations, IT, and Investor Services to resolve issues and drive process improvement.
- Escalate issues and contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.
- Support NAV teams with trade and pricing queries.
- Monitor and process product lifecycle events (e.g., corporate actions, expiries).
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and project work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong command of English (minimum B2; C1+ preferred).
- Prior experience in a middle office or trade support role is advantageous.
- Familiarity with financial instruments (e.g., equities, fixed income, derivatives) is a plus.
- Full-time availability; final-year students in part-time studies are welcome to apply.
