For our client from pharmaceutical industry we are looking for candidates for Demand Planning Senior Specialist who will be responsible for Demand Planning in selected group products in EMEA Region.

Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Economics, Life Sciences, or related field,
  • 4–6 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain—preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry,
  • experience with multi-SKU, multi-market planning environments is an advantage,
  • proficiency with demand planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP/APO, OMP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Anaplan),
  • strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus,
  • understanding of statistical forecasting concepts and supply chain fundamentals,
  • strong communication and stakeholder-management skills,
  • high attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to interpret complex datasets,
  • ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team objectives,
  • proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment,
  • problem-solving mindset with willingness to challenge assumptions and propose improvements.

Responsibilities

  • develop and maintain short-, mid-, and long-term demand forecasts for assigned markets and products,
  • analyze historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotional activities, and tender outcomes to ensure accuracy,
  • identify forecast variances, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions,
  • support monthly demand reviews and participate in S&OP/IBP cycles,
  • track and improve forecast accuracy and bias through continuous monitoring and process enhancements,
  • work closely with supply planning, commercial, finance, regulatory, and marketing teams to incorporate market intelligence and business plans into demand forecasts,
  • collect demand insights from local markets or regional teams to validate assumptions,
  • provide timely communication of demand risks, opportunities, and changes in forecast assumptions,
  • create and maintain demand planning data in SAP planning tools,
  • collaborate with supply planners to ensure inventory sufficiency and highlight potential stock issues,
  • support product lifecycle management, including new product introductions, discontinuations, and transitions,
  • assist in the preparation of supply scenarios that account for constraints, demand shifts, and market events,
  • prepare demand planning reports, forecast accuracy dashboards, and KPI tracking for internal stakeholders,
  • ensure data integrity within planning systems and support data cleanup or master data improvement initiatives,
  • contribute to system enhancements, automation, and process improvements within demand planning,
  • identify opportunities to streamline the demand planning process and implement best practices,
  • support special projects such as process optimization, planning tool upgrades, S&OP maturity initiatives, or digital transformation activities.
