For our client, global company from professional services industry we are looking for Head of  Financial Reporting & Consolidation who will be responsible for leading statutory and group reporting activities across multiple legal entities in the EMEA region.

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field,
  • professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ACA, CA) strongly preferred,
  • minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in financial reporting and consolidation,
  • strong hands-on experience with IFRS and Czech GAAP in a multinational environment,
  • proven experience managing or leading teams,
  • deep technical accounting knowledge and strong analytical skills,
  • experience with multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation,
  • strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and consolidation for numerous legal entities in EMEA Region,
  • ensure accurate and timely group reporting in compliance with IFRS and Czech GAAP,
  • review and validate consolidation entries, intercompany eliminations, FX translation, and management adjustments,
  • prepare and review financial statements, disclosures, and reporting packages for group and regional stakeholders,
  • provide expert guidance on IFRS and Czech GAAP, accounting matters, including complex transactions,
  • monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on the business,
  • support statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors and advisors,
  • ensure strong internal controls and compliance with global finance policies,
  • lead, coach, and develop a team of up to 5 FTEs within the reporting and consolidation function,
  • cooperate closely with regional finance teams and / or accounting providers,
  • drive continuous improvement in reporting and consolidation processes,
  • dentify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency gains,
  • contribute to system implementations or enhancements related to consolidation and reporting tools.
