For our Client, a global company with a high market position, we are looking for an experienced Head of Group Reporting & Consolidation EMEA to lead the regional financial reporting and consolidation function for approximately 50 legal entities across EMEA.

Requirements

  • university degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field,
  • professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA will be considered an advantage,
  • 10-15+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, consolidation or external audit,
  • proven experience in managing larger finance teams,
  • strong knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation standards,
  • experience managing multi-entity consolidation across multiple jurisdictions,
  • hands-on experience with group consolidation.

Responsibilities

  • lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and consolidation processes for approximately 50 legal entities across EMEA,
  • ensure accurate preparation of regional consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS and Group accounting policies,
  • oversee intercompany reconciliations, eliminations and foreign currency translation adjustments,
  • ensure timely delivery of financial reporting packages to group finance and senior leadership,
  • maintain high standards of financial transparency, data quality and audit readiness,
  • manage, mentor and develop a team of up to 20 FTE,
  • drive improvements in closing timelines, reporting accuracy and process automation,
  • ensure effective internal controls and compliance with corporate governance requirements,
  • coordinate cooperation with internal and external auditors during audit processes,
  • lead finance transformation initiatives related to reporting, consolidation and data governance.
