Your future role:

  • Managing and overseeing the program delivery, reviewing solution development, sharing best practices, and flagging risks to ensure successful implementation,
  • Defining requirements and conducting gap analysis for data catalog, business glossary, and data lineage tooling (Microsoft Purview),
  • Co-creating and maintaining a business glossary to ensure consistency in KPI definitions across the organization,
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop common definitions of business terms at a global level,
  • Designing and refining the conceptual data model for corporate data structures, aligned with business glossary and existing integration layers,
  • Supporting the implementation of automated metadata collection, including Purview reconfiguration and metadata transfer for Databricks notebooks,
  • Enhancing the data quality framework, including API response validation mechanisms and Power BI components for DQ scoring,
  • Improving platform performance and responsiveness through Redis Cache configuration and in-memory indexing solutions,
  • Working within a technology stack that includes Snowflake and Microsoft Purview.

Apply if you have:

  • Proven experience in a Data Architect, Data Analyst, or similar role within complex data environments,
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview (data catalog, data lineage, metadata management),
  • Experience with Snowflake and modern data platforms,
  • Understanding of conceptual data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema) and corporate data structures,
  • Hands-on experience with business glossary creation, KPI frameworks, and metadata management,
  • Knowledge of data quality frameworks and DQ scoring methodologies,
  • Experience with Power BI (dashboards, components, data quality integration),
  • Familiarity with Databricks (notebooks, metadata transfer),
  • Understanding of API response mechanisms and validation processes,
  • Experience with Redis Cache configuration and performance optimization,
  • Strong program management skills – ability to review solution development, flag risks, and drive successful delivery,
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with SMEs and domain experts at a global level,
  • Fluent English (written and spoken),
  • The ability to operate as a sole proprietor or business entity within Poland (due to the project-based nature of the employment).

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a consulting environment,
  • Familiarity with Power Query, DAX, or similar data transformation tools,
  • Knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodologies.
