We are partnering with a global organization operating multiple Global Business Services (GBS) centers to recruit an experienced EMEA Financial Controller. This role is responsible for driving the strategic financial management of the GBS organization across the EMEA region. The position combines strategic oversight with a hands-on approach, offering high visibility and regular interaction with senior stakeholders at a global level.

Requirements
- proven experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or similar finance leadership roles,
- strong understanding of GBS/shared services environments (preferred),
- ability to operate both strategically and hands-on,
- experience working with senior stakeholders in a global/matrix organization,
- excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills,
- strong leadership capabilities with experience managing small teams,
- degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (professional qualifications such as ACCA/CIMA/CPA are a plus).
Responsibilities
- lead financial planning, analysis, and strategic controlling for the EMEA GBS organization,
- partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making,
- oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes,
- drive cost optimization and efficiency initiatives across GBS operations,
- monitor financial performance and ensure alignment with global objectives,
- provide clear and actionable financial reporting to senior leadership,
- ensure strong financial governance, compliance, and internal controls,
- manage and develop a small team (1–2 FTEs),
- collaborate closely with Finance & Accounting (F&A) teams across GBS locations,
- support transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within the GBS function.
