Content Editor with languages
WHY IS THIS JOB IMPORTANT?
You will join a team of Content Editors working on Risk content within the Financial and Risk division. Risk is a fast-growing Thomson Reuters business focusing on connecting our customers' business to the ever-changing regulatory environment, and client groups include compliance, audit, legal and risk functions in financial services and other industries. The Content Editors are responsible for daily updates and maintenance of relevant material in Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence databases. These databases contain reference material from around the world that clients use to ensure they satisfy their regulatory and legal obligations.
SOME OF DAILY TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM:
- Monitoring external sources e.g. websites, and selecting relevant content for regulatory event alerts
- Creating timely alerts by summarising regulatory documents and translating where necessary
- Reconstructing machine translated text into comprehensible English where necessary
- Ensuring quality, accuracy and consistency of content through quality control checks

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of literacy
- Knowledge of two or more languages: Fluent English + Fluent/Intermediate Polish, Arabic, Turkish, Greek, Norwegian, Finnish, Ukrainian, Hungarian, Hebrew, or Georgian).
- Good translation and linguistic skills
- Impeccable time-keeping, meeting all deadlines through effective prioritization
- Good organisational skills - Computer literacy
