For our client – a newly opened, global start-up SSC – we are currently looking for a skilled Specialist Accountant experienced in the General Ledger to join a new accounting team in the very centre of Warsaw. The new team will support accounting processes for EMEA region. This might be the perfect professional opportunity for those ready to make the next step in their career. Your new role

• The available role will require from you advanced knowledge about General Ledger processes such as:
  • month-end closing activities
  • accounts reconciliation
  • analysis of Profit&Loss as well as Balance Sheets
• You will act in a team ensuring accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.

You will be in charge of preparing VAT declarations and statutory reporting for the entities in EMEA region.


What you'll need to succeed

• At least 2 years of previous experience in General Ledger (preferably in the SSC).
• Advanced level of French (B2 level)
• Advanced level of English (B2 level)
• Be aware of international accounting policesand have an understanding of GAAP standards
• Proven experience with SAP system and good Excel skills
• Deep understanding of GL Accounting & Closing processes.
• Excellent organisation skills and analytical thinking
