As a Senior Internal Auditor you will be part of a small, international team, responsible for audit services across all European entities and assisting with audits in other Sappi regions. In this job you will be responsible to enhance organisational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight; perform independent and objective financial, operational and forensic audits in accordance with generally accepted professional standards. You will also support Management and the Audit Committee in the achievement of company objectives through maintaining effective Governance, Risk and Control processes; recommend and communicate practical, cost effective solutions to mitigate identified risks. 

We are looking for Candidates with an academic accounting and/or auditing qualification –  preferably a registered member of a recognised professional society – such as an Institute of Chartered Accountants or Institute of Internal Auditors. You should have 3-5 years of related audit experience in a large multinational or Big 4 firm (experience in auditing production companies is an asset), experience in financial and operational audits, present good knowledge of SAP, IFRS, Risk and Control frameworks. You should also speak fluent English and be ready to travel up to 40-50% of your time.
