We are currently searching for candidates to join our Shared Service Centre in Katowice at a position of:
WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE? (% of role)
- Manage day to day global VAT compliance - 25%
- Prepare UK VAT return and MOSS return - 20%
- Review of various global Indirect tax returns - 20%
- Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations - 5%
- Review of all the journals in relation of the VAT accounts (consolidation, group, write-offs, etc.) - 5%
- Provide advice to AP/AR re VAT coding - 5%
- Support and develop two direct VAT reports and provide assistance and guidance to Corporate Tax Junior - 10%
- Support VAT Manager in ad hoc issues - 10%
DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW? Skill Level (out of 4)
- University Degree in accounting or finance preferred - 4
- Experience of EU indirect tax in practice or industry (Big4 preferred) - 4
- Experience of preparing tax journals, preparing BS recs and coordinating processes - 3
- Experience of compliance management globally - 3
- Experience coordinating a team is a plus - 4
- Fluent English both written and verbal - 4
- Good skills with MS Office (specially Excel) - 4
