We Offer
BCE Listed Derivatives Brokerage Control Team Role. Primary responsibility is to handle substantiation of the brokerage balance sheets owned by the team and to provide MI and Reporting on Payables/Receivables out to Partners on a timely basis.
You will be part of a team that supports the Listed Derivatives global franchise and the US Equity Options customer business.
- Responsible for reporting and analysis on Listed Derivatives and CMTA Brokerage Payables and Receivables Balance Sheet (Payables $41.5M Receivables $15.9M)
- Responsible for LD & CMTA commissions month-end controlling activities including full substantiation of Brokerage Payables and Receivables Balance Sheets
- Regular liason with senior managers and partners from across the bank including Front Office business heads and COOs
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects impacting the team e.g. Legal Entity Migrations, Balance Sheet closure project and MIFID 2 work
- Support annual SOX reviews
- Responsible for oversight of brokerage processing activities carried out by external vendor

You Offer
To be successful in the role:
- You have university degree
- You are able to demonstrate success working with large amounts of data
- You have 1-2 years of experience working in Financial Services
- System Skills: Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills, MS Access would be an asset, Experience in any financial packages such as Oracle, SAP
- You have good communication skills, important to speak fluently in English
- You demonstrate highly analytical mindset with good attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic accounting concepts – Accruals, Prepayments, Balance Sheet, P&L
- Accounting experience preferable, some experience of month end close process’s
- Positive, self-motivated personality with can-do attitude
