Job Description
- Create and maintain a Color & Print procurement strategy and contract compliance aligned to global and regional needs
- Lead the company's sourcing activities for the category to reduce cost, while introducing new agile processes and maintaining product quality and vendor service levels
- Assume spend responsibility (approx. 30M €) for all countries across the region, coordinating and collaborating with other regions globally
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders (both internal and external) to deliver the best results
- Proactively drive cost down programs beyond procurement savings to the stakeholders (e.g. change of specifications, value engineering)
- Manage and develop the suppliers base in order to improve their performance
- Manage cross-functional teams for the development and execution of strategies within region
The Successful Applicant
- Masters Degree in Economics, Logistics, or other relevant
- MBA and/or procurement accreditation (e.g. CPM, APICS) is an advantage
- Minimum 7-8 years of experience in an independent role in procurement, preferably in a matrix organization
- Strong background in category management and proven track record in supplier and contract management
- Experience in managing stakeholders, building strong relationships across multiple geographical locations and regions
- Project management and change management experience are essential
- Proven track of record in delivering quality and quantity goals in matrix organization
- Excellent analytic, problem solving and influential skills
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- Fluent English; other European language is an advantage
