Our client is an international leasing company. To manage current and projected future growth our client is seeking to recruit an experienced candidate for the position of Head of Risk and Operations. The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager and as part of the Management team, the Head of Risk and Operations will play an important and active role in the company's activities in Poland. The role is based in Warsaw and Poznań.

Job Description
- Management of the Risk and Operations department
- Manage team of 12 people
- Analyzing and evaluating annual financial statements and bank references
- Preparing and evaluating market and industry analyses and performance of asset valuations
- Participates in chairs risk committees and participates in strategic committees.
- Intensive maintenance of existing customer and sales partner connections
- Processing deferrals and restructuring area
- Recognizing risk provisions in the form of write-downs
- Determining debt service capacity
- Negotiations with insolvency administrators regarding further processing of contracts and use of leased assets
- Creation and development of the risk policy
- Project management with regard to new processes in risk management, introduction of a scoring model
The Successful Applicant
- Educated to a university degree (economics, banking, law, etc)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a risk management role in a leasing / bank /rental company or consulting
- Experience in working in an international environment
- Experience and knowledge in the areas of risk assessment and incident management
- Experience in managing teams.
- Strategic thinking and understanding of the other organizational units roles and its interference with operational department
- Process management skills, ability to identify gaps, propose and introduce solutions
- Project management skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Fluency in English and Polish is a must
- Ready to travelling between Warsaw and Poznań.
