PwC Advisory Financial Crime Unit (FCU) is a world class, center for preventing and detecting financial crimes. We do strategy through execution, cross functionally (Policy, Process, Technology, Operations). We work for the leading institutions across the globe.

Manager in Financial Crime Unit


The Role:

· Lead and manage on a client engagement or an internal initiative, e.g. determine what needs to be done and how, engage the client and your team, ensure the timeliness and quality of deliverables

· Keep up with developments in the financial crime area (e.g. how regulations change, how institutions respond, what are the practices worth spreading in terms of policies, operating models, technology)

· Play active role in the global PwC network (collaborate on projects, share knowledge, learn)

· Be a role model for junior colleagues, as a coach and/ or as a team member

· Location Gdańsk or Warsaw

· Substantial travel time, depending on the engagement


Candidate's profile:
 

· Previous experience (+7 years), preferably in the financial crimes area at a global financial institution, regulatory agency, or a leading consulting firm

· Interest in the financial crime area, ideally cross functional (candidate can specialize in a specific domain, e.g. AML regulations or process improvement, but should be open to other areas as well, e.g. existing and emerging technology, operations)

· Solid understanding of the overall financial services industry (e.g. business and operating models, products and services)

· Experience in managing projects, processes and teams,

· Practical and decisive

· Experience in regulatory/AML remediation projects will be considered as an asset

· Team player, enjoying working in a multicultural and international environment, willing to travel and being involved in international projects

· Fluent in English; other languages considered as an asset
