Our client, a global advertising agency with a consultancy and production office based in Warsaw, is looking for an experienced E-Commerce strategist to service a newly won client account as well as support the internal team. The ideal specialist will have in-depth understanding of e-commerce mechanisms and a holistic approach to digital processes. The main purpose of the role is to help clients gain competitive advantage in the E-Retail environment.

Your main task will be to create E-Commerce strategies for clients on an international and local level with a focus on originality and cutting-edge solutions. You will work hand in hand with our Global E-Commerce Strategy Director as well as teams of E-Merchandisers, Digital Analysts, E-Commerce Production (e.g. Designers, Content Specialists), E-Commerce Technology and Client Service Departments delivering innovative recommendations that enrich our projects. The role will involve: * Creating feature-rich E-Commerce strategies for global and local clients * Approaching projects holistically, guiding the offering from a higher perspective * Acting as an E-Commerce innovator * Being the subject matter expert for E-Commerce in all markets, providing thought leadership and best practice guidance and advice * Maintaining a high level of communication with all agency departments globally ensuring consistency between recommendations given and final outputs * Delivering insight sessions on best E-Commerce practices to all agency departments * Providing training to external clients * Regular auditing of strategic briefs in line with latest trends and tools and recommending improvements where necessary * Continuously improving the agency's E-Commerce strategy
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in an international E-Commerce and/or Digital set up. You will be expected to act as an E-Commerce champion across the business, inspiring teams, implementing new solutions all the while defining our business and its E-Commerce strategy. To do this you will need to have: * Fluent English, both written and spoken * Experience in an E-Commerce or Digital related environment (such as an agency, consulting company, service provider, E-Commerce platform etc.) * In-depth understanding of retail marketplaces both on and off-line including the latest trends * Comprehensive knowledge of UX/ UI, customer-centric approach and key barriers for on-line shopping, both desktop and mobile * Expertise of on-line channels and how they can be used to support and develop the brand's on-line presence * Outstanding presentation and communication skills with stakeholders of various levels of seniority * Understanding of information architecture disciplines * A high level of organisation and multitasking skills * Attention to detail * A dynamic and result orientated character * Commercial and self-awareness * Willingness to work in a multinational environment * A university degree/ international experience/ digital marketing skills (branging, advertising or communications) are desirable but not essential
