Job Description
  • The supervision, development and day to day operation of the global OtC function
  • Driving continuous improvements through service excellence, process enhancements and cost benefit
  • Responsible and accountable for the day to day supervision for the team and operational activities of the OtC function
  • Oversees and has accountability for day to day accounting processes and systems, ensuring accurate processing, recording, and reporting of financial information
  • Delegate, review, approve, and on occasion, may prepare requests for ad hoc analysis of various types of financial information utilizing operational and financial analytics as appropriate for the situation
  • Ensure all month-end, quarterly and yearly tasks deliverables are met and controlled
  • Ensure that developed KPIs and SLAs are continuously met and adhered to
  • Assist with auditors and audit requirements
  • Oversee and actively manage applicable projects that may arise from time to time including any future transitions
  • Assist in developing a robust management structures within the wider OtC team, to cover accountabilities with appropriate succession and growth plans, through hiring, developing and mentoring colleagues
  • Monitor and ensure continuous training of all staff through application of recognized training tools e.g. Six Sigma, Lean or internally developed tools
  • Manage identified stakeholders effectively around operational activities and change related matters, building strong and lasting relationships both internally and externally whilst doing so
The Successful Applicant
  • Have a good knowledge of accounting rules, standards and regulations
  • Have a good knowledge of accounting processes and internal control principles
  • Experience in SSC structures (preferably cash application) is required
  • Experience as an OtC Team Leader would be an asset
  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of English - required
  • Knowledge of other languages would be an asset
