Lead a team of Project engineers for local investment projects including budgeting and scheduling responsibility Develop the team and the performances of the engineering department through Continuous improvement and in alignment with the Strategy and the site's mission & goals: Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Reliability, Project management, Costs and Competitiveness Improve performance of engineering operations on a global basis measured by key performance indicators against industrial standards/internal & external benchmarks Build and lead a network of engineering operations specialists to integrate internal & external best practice standards into current operations while co-operating with engineering operations specialists outside of the company Initiate, drive and manage the definition & implementation of projects based on best practices/industry standards to realize continuous improvements through optimization and standardization Plan and implement manufacturing facilities, including attachments, utilities and building technology Ensure of all projects are technically fit for purpose and meet the statutory requirements Assess customer needs and satisfaction regularly and adjust services accordingly Ensure a good alignment and an efficient teamwork with the key clients and partners on site (Production, Logistic, R&D, Quality control, Planning, Maintenance, Support functions) and outside (Technical Division, Purchasing, Finance, other sites, Local Authorities, etc…) Provide technical support to the cost controller to allow the generation of estimates at project commencement and for any potential scope change Optimize partnerships and contracts with contracting companies Role model a leadership style which is inclusive, proactive, respectful, communicative, change agile, innovation/creativity and results driven
