Job Description
- Combine/merge data from different BW into one BW.
- Harmonize data that has been extracted/merged.
- Create/modify/run ETL.
- Extract data from different ERP systems.
- Deliver standardization of global reporting activities.
- Bring data together from different data sources into one harmonized consolidated data repository, global reporting will utilize the data from this repository.
- Analyze and take decisions on the best way of executing these activities.
- Closely collaborate with the Information Management specialists from the Headquarters.
- Work on implementing alignments of definitions/KPIs in order to harmonize Master Data.
- Create a scalable harmonized Business Warehouse suitable for further reporting purposes.
- Align the quality of the BW with the team developing reports and BI environment.
- Guide/support/coach young talents in executing their Data Engineering activities.
- Contribute towards creating reporting (map, make data available, create/modify/optimize queries).
- Ensure that architecture fully supports business needs, today and in future. Work in close collaboration with the solution architects.
- Validate the quality of the dataset prepared for the reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with Business (understanding what and why they need) and other colleagues who will be using the data you will deliver.
The Successful Applicant
- Strong working experience within BI/reporting domain. Clear understanding of the needs from the BI/reporting domain is required.
- Strong experience in designing and developing ETL programs for DW.
- Strong knowledge of ETL Maintenance, ETL Auditing and Reporting, Data Mapping, Exception Handling, and integration of multiple sources in an enterprise environment.
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of data warehousing and SAP BW.
- Strong experience BW Extraction, Performance Optimization, Analysis Process Design.
- Practice in front end visualization tools.
- Able to execute own work and guide/coach/support young talents.
- Being a proactive person, willing to further improve the processes within the team.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze, organize, summarize, present, and articulate processes.
- Able to work with multiple internal customers & stakeholders across multiple geographies.
- Fluent English.
