Job Description
Business Engagement/Relationship Management
  • Establishes and maintains a strategic relationship at senior business leadership level
  • Manages the day to day engagement with key stakeholders within the function on strategic and tactical matters impacting the provision and change of the services provided by Business Technology
  • Understands key business drivers and business strategy within the functions
  • Understands the local market/function specifics
  • Represents the functions strategies and priorities to Business Technology
  • Represents Business Technology vision and strategy to the functions
  • Ensures stakeholders' expectations are set, identify and resolve gaps through negotiation or governance mechanism
  • Contributes relevant functional stream insights to the definition of Business Technology's strategy and roadmaps and their alignment with the business strategy
  • Understands the business technology operating model/strategy/roadmap and ensure these are promoted and well understood
Demand Management
  • Captures demand (including consolidation all regional demand) for new Technological Solutions and Services at an early stage and ensures collaboration and alignment with Global Process Owners within function
  • Supports the prioritisation of business changes for the function, in accordance with the agreed demand management process managing conflict between regional needs and global strategy
  • Captures high level requirements and business needs to properly scope projects or dimensions of new IT services
  • Anticipates proactively specific needs in the functional stream, investigating and advising on innovation opportunities
  • Is accountable for pre-project activities transforming a business request into an approved projects
Delivery and Operations
  • Is involved in and represents the requesting functional stream in steering committees of projects
  • Ensures full alignment between business technology teams and business stakeholders for project delivery
  • Works with Change Delivery team to ensure the scope (benefits realisation) and the right level of engagement is established / agreed
  • Is an escalation point at business technology leadership level for the functional stream, working in accordance with the defined operational processes (e.g. incident management). The Business Partner also acts as a "safety valve", providing a communications and escalation route where processes are not proving effective for the business
  • Provides high level IT projects and services updates to stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
  • A minimum of 5 years Customer facing experience supporting technological projects in a B2B environment as a Business Relationship Manager, Process Owner, Consultant, Functional SME
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or assuming Business Analysis responsibility as part of his/her role
  • Good understanding of Finance/HR process
  • Experience of participating in large IT change projects as part of an operational team
  • Experience in the consultancy sector or recruitment sector is a plus
  • Stakeholder management and consulting skills, effective at engaging and building strong relationships with Senior stakeholders and others and establishing trusted networks
  • Very good understanding of enterprise processes; able to influence and improve operational ways of working
  • High proficiency / negotiation level in English
  • This position requires travelling ca. 25 % of the time
