Job Description
- Leading and managing the Shared Services Centre
- Tracking business unit performance as well as leading and challenging management
- Exercising control over the implementation of business objectives by subordinate units and coordinating work related to ensuring high quality of services
- Designing and implementing a development strategy to increase productivity, service level as well as assure possibilities for further expansion
- Recommending solutions leading to the optimisation of processes in the organisation
- Empowering a continuous improvement culture
- Assessing costs and risks of all business initiatives
- Budget planning and implementation of financial strategy plans
- Participating in SSC projects including overseeing transition projects aiming to move new business functions to the SSC
- Building a corporate culture in which all employees are respected, valued and motivated to contribute to their maximum potential
- Developing and implementing an effective internal communication strategy
The Successful Applicant
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Exceptional decision making skills and result-oriented approach
- Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a managing role on a senior level within an international organisation
- Experience in the SSC / BPO environment will be an asset
- Fluency in English (very good command of German would be an asset)
- Experience in process optimisation projects (knowledge of Six Sigma /Lean methodology will be an asset)
- University degree
