Job Description
The successful candidate will report to the Tax Director and work on all the above matters across Europe, reviewing foreign tax returns and financial statements, tax reporting, assistance with preparation of transfer pricing documentation, management of certificates of tax residence and research to support projects and advise to management and colleagues in the business in relation to direct and indirect taxes. In particular, the successful candidate will be expected to support the correct management of taxes within the Europe SSC. The requirements of the role will flex according to prevailing need and the agenda set by the Tax Director. Necessary training will be provided by way of both external courses and workplace instruction and coaching.
The Successful Applicant
A minimum of 7 years+ of experience in international corporate tax in tax advisory(big4) and/or experience in a multinational corporation; Experience in the functional management and development of tax staff, Strong general business and commercial awareness, Excellent analytical skills and the ability to resolve problems effectively, Strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively to high effect, Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior management, Fluent in English (written and verbal) with strong communication, Team Player; Strong analytical skills and attention for detail, Ambitious, highly motivated, energetic, hard worker.
