Job Description
- Carry out research into best practice for HR and develop HR policy and procedures, ensuring consistency in application and practice across the organisation
- Utilising employment law knowledge to meet business needs and ensuring consistent, fair and accurate application
- Develop programmes to enhance employee relations and associate engagement
- Manage recruitment and selection from initial requirement planning through to onboarding
- Manage the annual Performance Management process
- Support Talent Management processes
- Ensure learning and development requirements are correctly identified and actioned in relation to business needs
- Encourage and develop a culture of learning and development and manage local needs
- Manage internal communications
- Act as a change agent in managing organisational changes
- Working with global and regional teams to ensure competitive compensation and benefits and maintain corporate guidelines whilst representing local market needs
- Contribute the development of the HR strategic planning process
- Utilising HRIS to drive decision making and provide management information
- Become a local expert for Workday
- Provide coaching and advice on employee relation issues to associates and managers
- Build and maintain effective relationships with wider HR team, local/regional/global stakeholders and external partners
- Champion community connection and wellbeing activities
- Role model for NB values and behaviours, ambassador for the HR function and able to bring new associates into our culture
- Undertake HR projects as needed
The Successful Applicant
- CIPD qualified or local equivalent
- At least 5 years relevant HR experience
- SHL certified advantageous
- Experience of working in a generalist HR role across the broad function of HR - recruitment, Learning & Development, internal communications, employee relations, employee benefits, developing policy and procedure, exposure to payroll
- Comprehensive working knowledge of local employment laws
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, influencing skills at all levels across the business
- Decision maker - solutions focused and takes accountability for decisions made
- Proactive self starter, assertive, resilient and tenacious
- Highest levels of integrity and professional credibility
- Energy, drive, positive outlook and willing to take on new challenges
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Workday experience advantageous
- Willing and able to travel
