As a Lead Business Analyst in Fintech Products you’ll drive requirement analysis to create specifications for suite of Fintech products.
Your knowledge of Custody or Corporate Actions areas, some experience in project work and ability to understand application development process will enable you to succeed in a fast-paced environment.To be successful, you’ll need to understand how Fintech products fit into the company wide business processes, how they are integrated with other applications and what is the impact of change at any of these components.

Key responsibilities:
- Conduct and coordinate business analysis efforts for products and project initiatives
- Understand and describe business needs and potential solutions way multiple cross-team business and technical stakeholders will be able to understand them.
- Determine how changing business needs will affect the product and process
- Lead internal and/or external client workshops/meetings to gather, understand, and manage client expectations, find gaps and opportunities
- Create, review and approve high level scope documents, use cases, issue logs, project status documents, change control documents, and business cases
- Conduct business analysis efforts for projects and initiatives independently and manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently
- Understand the Product/System architecture and its functionalities to assess the feasibility of client request
- Manage projects of high complexity
- Apply industry knowledge and standards to BBH’s products and client workflows to ensure the most efficient and effective client solutions
- Oversee project management activities on assigned tasks to ensure projects stay on budget and are completed within agreed upon timeframes.
- Oversee and/or perform testing of systems changes.
- Edit product announcements, user guides and release notes.
- Demonstrate existing products and developed functionalities to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross – functional teams, System analysts and Developers.
- Solve difficult problems proposing insightful, knowledgeable, effective solutions and make key decisions independently or with minimal supervision.
- Drive and participate in the trainings for other team members and clients as needed.
- Manage client expectations and project priorities with relation to BBH product strategy and priorities.
Qualifications:
- Business Analyst degree and/or equivalent background.
- 7+ years related work experience.
- Ability to take action in solving problems, while exhibiting a realistic understanding of the scope of the issue.
- Ability to communicate effectively, including targeting the communication to the audience and negotiation.
- Oral communication skills including the ability to facilitate effective meetings and to deliver presentations.
- Ability to compose, edit, and review sophisticated written materials.
- Ability to multi task.
- Flexible and adaptable in dealing with a client's evolving needs.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Financial services industry knowledge and experience is a plus.
- SWIFT messaging, communication methods such as FTP and MQ, and other systems and Internet technologies knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency using windows based applications, including MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and MS Project.
