Job description:

This posting is for the role of Knowledge Expert for Integrated Gas. The Knowledge Expert is a new role within the renewed Support Model for users of the Systems & Processes in CP (Contracting and Procurement), and is key in strengthening our Operational Excellence journey and deploy / embed RtP and CMPC functionality and processes.
The Knowledge Experts reports into the Delivery Managers (or Delivery Manager -1, as teams are still ramping up) within the CP-Ops Delivery teams, 

 

 
Objectives:

 

  • Manage and develop an active and sustainable community of Super Users.

  • Champion (and lead by example) the use of Knowledge Management tools as a means of sustainably building and sharing knowledge in the community and around the globe. 

  • Embed and improve.

  • Identify and lead Operational Excellence improvement through data driven process analytics.

 

Integrated Support Model

  • Responsible for maintaining a robust, active and competent Super User Community for the processes supported. Including:

    • Ensuring sufficient SU coverage for entire end-user community by facilitating the nomination and resourcing of new Super Users as/when required

    • Onboarding, coaching and ongoing competence development of Super User community

    • Ensure regular and effective engagement and involvement of Super User community on changes to system & process, current trending issues/themes

    • Provide guidance & coaching to Super Users for queries or issues they cannot resolve themselves.

    • Maintain Global Super user locator tools as required.  

  • Focal Point for Global ISM

    • Coordinate any required local testing and deployment of new functionality with Super User community

    • Coordinate any required business impact assessments in support of potential new functionality

    • Manage and coordinate business change readiness activities, Stakeholder engagement and Training & Communications activities related to global changes to systems and processes.

 

Knowledge Management

  • Champion use of Knowledge Management tools as a means of sustainably building and sharing knowledge across a global community. (Success Stories: User Experience, Lessons Learned, Best Practices; turn into Knowledge and promote them across)

  • Share and raise attention to relevant posts raised in the global community with your target community

  • Leverage and promote use of official sources of information. 

 

Operational Excellence/Embedment

  • Contribute to integrated CP-Operations activity plan.

  • Lead a local Agile Operational Excellence working group that drive process embedment by identifies, prioritises and delivers improvements that are aligned with OE priorities.

  • Leverage Information & Insights tools and resources including process analytics tools to make data driven observations and drive improvements.

  • Identify, Develop and Execute learning & development opportunities within the community.

  • Liaise with and leverage global resources to identify the need

  • Working closely with Operations Lead, collect CI input, provide input in CMCP/CMCP Cockpit CI plan or RTP CI plan and RtP Waste Free Program; recommendations with benefits case;

  • Provide insight into Business organisation & ways of working, ensure changes meet needs of Line of Business.

  • Coordinate collection of and ranking of potential improvement opportunities to add into the Opportunity funnel.  

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of E2E processes and integration points between processes.
