This is an individual contributor role that has the opportunity to work in the State Street Beacon transformation program by supporting our Global Footprint Strategy efforts. Beacon, a publicly announced five-year program, represents a very bold vision to digitize our entire organization to achieve greater efficiencies, improved processes, real-time insights, and fast and accurate digital service delivery for our clients. We’re building a digital ecosystem that will allow us to accelerate and improve how we collaborate with each other and our clients.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to project manager and your assigned business and shared service teams in optimizing their operational model
  • Perform business analysis on assigned initiatives
  • Provide high quality services in a timely manner
  • Apply expertise for complex solutioning and risk mitigation
  • Execute all reporting requirements for assigned projects
  • Assist in developing and implementing new approaches, methods and/or enhancements
  • Collaborate with internal and external groups to identify, analyze and proactively resolve issues

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years job related/industry experience in financial services or consulting is required (expertise specifically Globalization, Fund Accounting and Back office operations is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of business analysis methodology is preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Excel, and Word required
  • Good communication, problem solving and writing skills required
