Job description:

Job Purpose:
Responsible for the efficient and effective operational management of credit risk according to policy and direction from credit committees. Responsible for providing authorized approval for credit decisions. Actively support the Sales organization on all Credit related matters. Facilitate credit sessions with LoB sales teams.
 
Activities:

  • Manage credit requests
  • Assess credibility of customers per financial analysis/non-financial insight
  • Assign Credit Risk Category & Credit Limit
  • Manage Securities and take related actions
  • Re-assess customers regularly per credit policy re-evaluation triggers
  • Manage Credit Exposure, Total Risk Level & credit blocked orders
  • Good to have knowledge about bad debt processes and stages such as bankruptcy or insolvency
  • Communicate with internal and external customer in a professional, effective and efficient manner
  • Ensure that all relevant Shell and SSSC standards and guidelines are met;
  • Completes any special projects/tasks assigned
  • Act as an effective team player

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in credit management
  • Very good English skills, Turkish native speaker
  • Knowledge on financial statements and credit terminology
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office tools and MS Outlook
  • Able work under high time pressure,
  • Positively engages with others to improve business processes and performance where necessary
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, persuasive and firm in discussions
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Digital mindset
