Job description:

This role provides the successful candidate an opportunity to see various parts of organization through a CP (Contracting and Procurement) lens and to demonstrate such imperative Group behaviors as Commercial Mindset, External Focus and Speed of delivery.  The main focus will be on sourcing and contracting activities in assigned IT Projects, supporting Supply Chain Leaders with global & local agreements. The role is a 1 year assignment (fixed term contract). 

 

Accountabilities: 

• Localizing global agreements (Framework Agreement to local purchase contract)

• Preparing & negotiating standalone purchase contracts

• Working closely with Supply Chain Lead accountable for execution of global IT agreements

• Collaborating with business partners, ensuring their requirements are properly translated to suppliers

• Contracting various IT goods and services in challenging markets

• Negotiating legal & commercial provisions

• Monitoring local contract implementation and operationalization

• Working closely with finance, tax, RTP & legal teams

• Ensuring contracting procedure is properly followed

• Adding business value through commercial improvements (negotiations, online auctions)

Requirements:

• Fluent English

• +3 years of experience in procurement department (preferably in IT Category)

• Experience in managing contracts and commercial negotiations

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in any Commercial Discipline, including Law, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain/CP, Business/Management (inc. HR) and Marketing.

• Ability to make decisions in rapid environment

• Results oriented with strong prioritization skills

• Well organised

• Able to work independently

• Strong analytical skills

• Very good commercial sense and understanding of procurement

• Demonstrate a sound track record of delivery in a commercial environment and be able to show good customer focus.

• Ariba knowledge as advantage

• MS Office working knowledge
