Who we're looking for

At Deloitte, we are creating a new team that should help us better structure our regional IT and its cooperation with business. The IT department currently reacts to various requirements from 18 different countries and it is very important to analyse the requirements timely and consistently. And this is what we would like to develop within this new team. 

That is why we have created Digital Office, led by Jan Stehlík, who has currently moved from his position of COO and CFO of Czech and Slovak practices to this role. The Digital Office is responsible for partnering with all parts of our differentiated business. As part of newly built team, we would like to strengthen the business analysis capacity and capability in the team. 

Therefore, we are looking for a person with: 

  • Analytical skills;
  • Systematic and structured approach to problem-solving;
  • Business awareness;
  • Communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Fluent English;
  • Time management and organisational skills;
  • You are very positive and passionate about technologies
  • You are used to acting proactively, looking around and searching for things that need improvement. Simply, you do not wait for projects to fall into your lap;
  • You do not have a problem with presentations and convincing colleagues about the correctness of the designed solutions;
  • Various countries, various tastes, various ideas. It will be necessary to understand the environment well, find the right colleagues and understand the business priorities;
  • You enjoy both working in a team and working on your own.

Your future role

  • Analyse current process and how it meets given objectives;
  • Identify opportunities for improvements through better usage of technology and propose how improvements can be achieved;
  • Constructing workflow charts and diagrams, writing down specifications, outlining and presenting what changes can be done to improve given process;
  • Understand the financial and operational impact of any changes;
  • Conduct insightful analyses to investigate ongoing operational issues;
  • Formulate ways for businesses to improve in various areas.

Examples of projects you might cooperate on:

Firstly, you will have to map the as-is state in detail. It will require speaking to colleagues both within your team as well outside. Most important part then will be to identify improvements and propose how to address them. Typically creating a new process map and specification how technology can support the process. A few examples below:

  • Workflow for approval of vendors does not cover all vendors and the procurement team needs help with its extension.
  • Colleagues from marketing need to ensure integration of a web tool for registering participants of training courses with the internal CRM system.

We have been working hard on improving the onboarding process for new employees that appears to vary in different regions. This issue will require digitalisation on a large scale.
