The PTP Senior Associate is finance operations role in Smith & Nephew Global Business Services (GBS) responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient finance processes and controls from a GBS centre as described in the standard operating procedures and in line with the Group Finance Manual, Minimum Acceptable Practices (MAPs) and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Delivers the service to meet SLAs and KPIs and to ensure positive Voice of Customer feedback.
responsibilities
- Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Assure invoice compliance with accountancy, tax, local, legal rules and customer accounting standards
- Resolve all issues regarding booking invoices
- Deliver period end closing activities in line with the internal deadlines
- Prepper accruals and accounts reconciliation.
- Resolve all appearing issues and queries (reply to vendor queries)
- Perform reports, carry out daily/weekly quality checks on invoice processed within accounting systems
requirements
- Degree level qualification
- 4 to 6 years' experience in PTP processes
- Spanish and Portuguese C1
- English B2 is a must
- Experience in finance or accounting preferred
- Good MS Excel Skills
- Sound overview of end to end operational and financial controls, business processes and reporting
- Experience of SAP/Ariba
