
Job description:
·Lead the execution of analytics projects portfolio for inventory management to measure relevant inventory health indicators and visualize value opportunities;

Design and articulate the data science solution relevant to the business problem/opportunity in close collaboration with the MSC Inventory Planning Specialist.

Lead identification of appropriate data science models and evaluate their fitment for the available data;

Articulate the insights from the models in business-friendly language and explain the workings of the model for business adoption;

Analyse output data, translation of the data into compelling business cases and visualization of data in PowerBI and/or Spotfire; presentations of findings and recommendation to senior business stakeholders.

Work with Masterdata Lead for effective Management of Bill of Materials and relevant master data;
-
Drive full RDS Global materials data visibility of existing inventory footprint;

Work with IT and Digital and Innovation Lead to drive the development of relevant tools, data analytics and KPIs to support MSC inventory management.

Run stock analyses as a service to drive optimal inventory management;
Requirements:
Core skills
-
Bachelor or master’s degree in information technology, Mathematics, Engineering, computer science, business administration supply chain, or a related discipline.

Certified in Agile, SCRUM or Continuous Improvement (e.g. Lean Practitioner)

Preferably experience and/or certified in Supply Chain

Track record of successfully delivering high number of analytics projects in an industry / function (20-30 projects) both individually and through teams

Strong interpersonal communication skills and influencing skills

Deep understanding of industry / function and associated processes, data, and systems

A self-starter, able to work on initiative with a strong desire to learn
Modeling and Technology Skills

Deep expertise in machine learning techniques (supervised and unsupervised) statistics / mathematics / operations research including (but not limited to):
-
Statistics / Mathematics: Data Quality Analysis, Data identification, Hypothesis testing, Univariate / Multivariate Analysis, Cluster Analysis, Classification/PCA, Factor Analysis, Linear Modeling, Logit/Probit Model, Affinity & Association, Time Series, DoE, distribution / probability theory

Process Analytics Process Discovery / Mining, BottleNeck analysis, Confirmation Testing, Process Benchmarking, Gap-to-Potential Assessment, SAP Data Models, SAP Table Structures (across SAP Modules – 5-6 of the following: Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Planning,, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Warehouse Management, Shipping and transportation, Bills of Material (BOM), Sales and production Planning, Demand Management, Material Requirement Planning, Capacity Requirement Planning
